Applewood Farm , a full-time dressage training facility, provides a secluded, quiet atmosphere for rider and horse to learn and train together. Our training facility includes a Precision EQ all-weather outdoor dressage arena, a covered arena, 10
acres of lush pasture, and accommodations for 20 horses.
Applewood Farm, established in 1986, was initially a 15-stall barn and was home to all sorts of hunters, jumpers, dressage and driving horses. Expanded to 20 stalls in 1990, dressage began to be the central theme among the clientele when Michelle Gibson first boarded her horses here in 1992.
By 1994, Applewood was hosting its first Olympic fundraiser for Michelle, and Peron was living in stall number 1. Following the 1996 Olympics, as more and more horses came in for training, our boarding program shifted to become exclusively dressage training.
Since opening its doors in 1986, Applewood Farm has always provided excellent care for horses. Today we are proud to provide excellent training as well.
